# Setting Up

**Download and Install**

1. Visit our official [website](https://www.pixelclassic.net/) to download the game client.

2. Extract the downloaded file "PIXEL\_SETUP\_20241130.zip".

#### Apps for Extracting ZIP Files:

* **Windows File Explorer**
* **7-Zip**
* **WinRAR**
* **WinZip**

3. After Extracting the file, open "PIXEL\_SETUP\_20241130.exe"

4. Set Installation Location
   * The setup will suggest a default folder (`C:\Pixel Classic`).
   * If you want to install it elsewhere, click **Browse**, select your desired folder, and confirm.
   * Click Next.

5. Choose Additional Tasks:
   * You have the option to create a desktop shortcut for Pixel Classic.
   * Tick the checkbox if you want a shortcut on your desktop.
   * After making your selection, click **Next** to continue the installation process.

6. Next Step: Ready to Install
   1. The setup will show a summary of your selected options:
   2. **Destination location**: Confirm the folder where the program will be installed (e.g., `C:\Pixel Classic`).
   3. **Additional tasks**: Check if you've chosen to create a desktop shortcut (if applicable).
   4. Click **Install** to start the installation process.

7. Final Step: Completing the Installation
   1. The setup confirms that Pixel Classic has been successfully installed.
   2. If you'd like to launch Pixel Classic immediately, leave the checkbox **"Launch Pixel Classic"** selected.
   3. Click **Finish** to exit the setup wizard.
